Poultice Powder External Use

Why powdered and not already prepared?

First, it is good to know that to prepare 1 kg of poultice (poultice) it takes about 50% of water and 50% of clay. In addition, as soon as the clay is brought into contact with water, it begins to deploy its superb properties and work. In powder, nothing else has been added. It is therefore versatile as well as to cool, warm, relax. You decide on the consistency and can add yourself herbs or essential oils if you want and know which ones to use safely. Never use a bowl or metal utensils. Glass, plastic sandstone and wood.

Therefore, the more freshly prepared, the better its effects and powers. And as long as it is kept in a dry place, it will keep for a long time ready to serve when you need it. His only enemy is moisture.

- can be used during pregnancy, breastfeeding
- substance not prohibited in competition
- naturally antiseptic (absorption of germs, bacteria and parasites)
- its high purity promotes the decongestion of members
- Helps wound healing thanks to its aluminum silicate content
- soothes and reduces edema
- prevents mud scab

Clay imported directly from France. The green clay for external use, is certified Ecocert, quality assurance and control.

Some examples of care given with clay

During an abscess, after soaking the hoof in an Epsom salt bath for about 15 minutes, you can prepare your clay plaster with the desired consistency, with warm water. Fill the entire underside of the hoof well and make your bandage to hold it all in place. To be repeated twice a day for a maximum of 3 days. If the abscess has not pierced, call your veterinarian. An abscess can become a general infection and put your horse's life in danger.

Clay is a "living dressing" that absorbs the "bad" and allows the good cells to regenerate. His possibilities of benefits are endless! Indispensable for hiking and in your first aid kit.

Wash with saline water and apply the plaster of clay directly to the wound. If you do not have the opportunity to wash right away (on a hike for example), you can put the powdered clay directly on the wound and stop the bleeding while protecting the wound.
